MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — The City of Manhattan Beach has reported the 9th death of a resident since Los Angeles County began collecting data in March. Five of the COVID-19 deaths in Manhattan Beach have come in 2021. The city's numbers did not increase to a great extent overnight but the additional death comes as families are impacted by the virus.
