SUNNYVALE, CA — A South Bay man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on suspicion of killing his wife and 11-year-old daughter, Sunnyvale police said.
Leonid Solomonovich Yamburg, 51, entered the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety headquarters at around 2:35 p.m. and was immediately detained after confessing to a records clerk that he killed his wife, police said.

The specific cause of death is currently under investigation by the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner.
"This is a horrific tragedy and our hearts are broken for the victims, the victim's families and the victim's friends," police said in a statement.
