Press release from the City of Strongsville: The Ohio Department of Health is offering information about the coronavirus vaccine. You can find details on their website, coronavirus.ohio.gov. Currently, two locations in Strongsville are administering the vaccine. They are: Discount Drug Mart, 13939 Prospect Road, (844) 625-0843 Giant Eagle, 15919 Pearl Road, (440) 238-4111 Each site is managing its own schedules and appointments. Online registration is preferred, but if you have no internet access, you can call these agencies for asistance: United Way -- 211 helpline University Hospitals -- (216) 800-9367 Cleveland Clinic -- (216) 444-2538 The schedule for vaccine recipients is: Week of Jan. 19, 2021 -- 80 or older Week of Jan. 25 -- 75 or older, and those with severe congenital or developmental disorders Week of Feb. 1 -- 70 or older, and exployees of K-12 schools who wish to remain or return to in-person or hybrid models Week of Feb. 8 -- 65 or older.
