An opportunity to learn about Vogel Alcove and our mission to help children recover from the traumatic effects of homelessness. Under normal circumstances, we would offer in-person tours while the children are present. Due to the pandemic we are not allowing any outside visitors during business hours. Vogel Alcove Sunset Tours will give groups and individuals and opportunity to visit the organization after hours, once all the children, families and Program staff have left for the day. Guests will be able to visit and learn first-hand what makes Vogel Alcove so special Each tour is expected to last an hour and is led by Vogel Alcove CEO Karen Hughes. During the tour, guests will not only visit our children’s favorite spaces, but will also learn how Vogel Alcove helps them recover from the trauma of homelessness. Vogel Alcove Sunset tours are free to the public but you must RSVP so we can plan accordingly, and all guests will be asked to wear face masks during the event. The event will also be kept to small groups to adhere to Dallas County social distancing guidelines. We look forward to seeing you soon. Important Parking Info Directions & Parking Instructions:  1738 Gano Street, Dallas, TX 75215 Very limited parking is available in our parking lot. We recommend parking on St. Paul street or inside the Dallas Heritage Village Parking lot, adjacent to our building. On St. Paul, please park on the same side as the Vogel Alcove building (As you drive down Gano Street, take a right on St. Paul. St. Paul runs alongside our building.) The only entrance to the facility is on the west side of the building, where our security guard is located. Once inside the building, you will be escorted to our meeting room.
