Convincing his reserved best friend to skip with him and his girlfriend, Bueller sets forth on a mission to bring his friend out of his shell during a day out on the town in Chicago. The gang finds themselves in a plethora of situations, all while avoiding Vice Principal Edward R. Rooney, who suspects Bueller to be a repeat truant and is committed to catching him.
