Sleepless in SeattleCast: Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan, Bill Pullman, Ross Malinger, Rob Reiner Starring Tom Hanks as Sam Baldwin, a widower who recently moved to Seattle after the loss of his wife to cancer. Roughly a year and a half after his loss, his son Jonah would call into a radio station, convincing Sam to tell the story of how much he misses his wife. Thousands are touched by the story, but especially Annie Reed, an engaged Baltimore reporter played by Meg Ryan. Despite her engagement, Annie feels there is something missing, even going so far as to write a letter to Sam to request he meet her. Although Annie never sent the letter, someone did.
