Support group for parents who have lost a child to suicide Please Note - this group is currently meeting onsite at The Empowering U Center following social distancing guidelines. Losing a child to suicide is a heavy burden to carry. Survivor's guilt weighs on many hearts and minds every day for those affected by a child's impulsive choice to escape life. This support group is for parents who are living the unchosen journey- stumbling, falling and learning to rise and cope with their new normal. Join Kathy O'Connell Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, as she shares tips and welcomes your stories of gaining strength to move forward. Learn from others just like you- those who understand, and those who will help one another face a new day with peace in their hearts. Parents of those who have lost a child to suicide are welcome to attend. Call 484-854-1162 for more questions. Only parents who have lost child should attend this group. We have a separate monthly group for family and friends who have lost a loved one to suicide. This group is held on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 7-8:30pm. Please register so we contact you if the date or time are changed.
