Shelton State Offering Dual Enrollment Transition Day

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Shelton State Community College's dual enrollment program will host a transition day for graduating high school seniors on Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 5:30 p.m. The informational event is free and will be held virtually through Zoom, and registration is required. SSCC says Dual Enrollment Transition Day will provide resources for senior dual enrollment students who participated in the program during high school and are preparing for their transition from high school to college. Information will be shared concerning enrollment, financial aid, scholarships, and general aspects of college life. "We are working hard to build a truly supportive environment for our graduating high school seniors," said Beverly Foster, the college's director of Dual Enrollment. "Our goal is for this transition process to be seamless and to provide ongoing opportunities for their success." Click here to register.
