PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Prince George's County launched a portal for residents to sign up for the coronavirus vaccine. By filling out some basic information, Prince Georgians can reserve their spot in line, no matter how far down the list they currently are. Everybody who still wants an immunization must complete this form, regardless of what stage they fall into. When residents are eligible for the shot, the Prince George's County Health Department will email them a link to make their appointment. County Executive Angela Alsobrooks warned that this may take some time, however. "I'm asking you to please be patient," Alsobrooks said in a newsletter. "Due to the current limited supply of vaccines, it may take several weeks or longer before individuals receive a link to schedule an appointment." To fill out the preregistration form, click here. Starting later this month, residents will also be able to dial a hotline to sign up. The call center's phone number and opening date are not yet finalized. "I want to again urge all Prince Georgians to take this life-saving vaccine when you are eligible," Alsobrooks said. " Who's Currently Eligible The vaccine rollout has five phases: 1A, 1B, 1C, 2 and 3. The following residents were part of stage 1A.
