Hey everyone. So I am a singer songwriter. I'd be interested to start a band with 3-4 part harmonies, stripped back, acoustic instruments (potentially save for bass/keys if any bassists/keyboardists are interested)
Ideally everyone would bring their own "songbook" to the table and you would sing lead on your songs, while the band backs you up, as well as you would back up on the songs from others.
in my mind there would be:
a bunch of vocalists, but if you don't sing, that's okay
1-2 guitars (picker and strummer, maybe)
bass
keys
drums
then any additional help like, but not limited to: strings, mandolin, banjo, etc.
we could all kind of be in it together and share costs to get nice recordings and put out records.. but the songwriters could also feel free to release the songs under their own names/monikers.
totally up to everyone, i'm all about diplomacy.
so anyway,
if this sounds like a thing you've wanted to try and maybe make some new friends, hit me up.
obiously we'll probably start small before everyone is vaccinated, but eventually could play some shows, etc.
