Beware of Craigslist Scammer uses ! Last week made contact with someone selling a large adult tortoise, replied via email. That evening got a text, he confirmed i could buy it and I explained I live Big Island but could come asap he said i could buy it. So the following morning I made arrangements, spoke to the guy on the phone, text him my flight info he said its a go, confirmed we could meet up around noon. I arranged with family to pick me up, arranged with Aloha Aircargo etc, bought a kennel for shipping. When I landed the following day in Honolulu he did not answer, finally text me couple hours later that he was working. He then texted me again at 430pm I "let's try for weekend". He has text me several times since then giving me the run around leading me on but always a dead end.. It was a crappy experience but lesson learned...NO ALOHA His phone number is he texted me this pic of sulcata. Update: he lives in pearl city-aiea, drives a truck with camper and sold it to someone that saw my post and sent me all their text several days before our meet date...same phone number and tort pics. One person says he does the same with puppies
