Description
OAKLAND, CA — Rescue crews helped a paddleboarder in distress Monday afternoon from the estuary off the Oakland coastline, fire officials said Tuesday.
Oakland firefighters responded at 4:50 p.m. Soon after, a California Highway Patrol helicopter and a fire boat from Alameda also responded.
The paddleboarder was rescued, taken to a fire station before being taken to a hospital.
No additional details were available.
