Get some exercise in our demonstration garden
Bring a sturdy chair (or use one of ours) for some chair cardio! All ages and fitness levels are welcome, but space is limited. Work out at your own pace and intensity level while enjoying the outdoors and learning fitness tips. Stay seated the whole time in a safely-distanced space while getting exercise.
Then stay for an optional garden tour and see what's growing in our demonstration garden. Please wear appropriate workout attire (closed toe shoes, comfortable clothes for various movements, etc.). Please also bring water, sunscreen, insect repellent, or anything else you will need to be comfortable in an outdoor setting. Building onsite has restrooms.
Please also bring your mask. Per UF policy, face coverings REQUIRED (please bring your own), and maintain physical distancing.
Please register on Event Brite in advance. We ask that you sign liability waivers in person before class begins.
You should seek medical approval from your health care professional prior to class if you have chronic health problems such as heart disease or diabetes, high blood pressure, pains in your heart or chest area, any physical conditions or problems that might require special attention, have dizzy spells, have a bone or joint condition that might be made worse by an exercise you are not accustomed to, or are a male over 45 or a female over 55 that is not accustomed to vigorous exercise.
