January 20, 2021
January 18, 2021 (MINNEAPOLIS) – Monday morning at 7:30 am, Minneapolis police responded to a report of a shooting on the 2900 block of Franklin Avenue East.
Officers arrived and located a 72-year-old male in critical condition suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center by paramedics.
Preliminary investigation indicates that this occurred during a possible robbery attempt outside of a business. The suspect is described as a black male in his 20's, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, with a slim build, wearing a mask, black sweater with a white square on the back and hood and grey pants.
