Description
MOORESVILLE, NC — Mooresville Police and field agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday executed a search warrant in a home on East Waterlynn Road.
Law enforcement officials, however, remained tight lipped about the case.
"Mooresville Police were assisting the FBI with a search warrant," a MPD spokesperson told Patch. "It is not our case."
While the FBI did not provide specifics about the incident, an agency spokesperson did confirm that the warrant was not in connection to recent violence at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.
"We executed a federal search warrant for another FBI field office," FBI Charlotte spokesperson Shelley Lynch told Patch. "No one has been arrested at this time, so there is no public information or unsealed documents that I can point you to."
