In need of a kidney donor

I am a male who lives in Sharon, Pa. in need of a kidney transplant. It was discovered I had kidney disease 20 yrs ago and I have been fortunate to be healthy all this time due to taking care of my body through various ways. Doc said since mine have been stable for so long it started back in my 20's.There are no symptoms till you reach 13% kidney function which is where I am at the present moment. I started dialysis last August. I have been blessed and fortunate that I got away with it this long. Although I am responding to treatment, the days of dialysis, I am tired, nauseous, get headaches and at times leg cramps 10x worse than a charley horse. I applied for a kidney transplant at Allegheny Hospital. The process takes time, but I have been approved and a good candidate. Very healthy considering my situation. I am looking for a living donor because the chances of it taking increase quite a bit. You must be healthy. No stents, by pass or over weight donors are allowed. Not that a kidney from a deceased donor is not good, it takes a long time to get one. I am B- blood type and any B are compatible along with type O.My insurance pays for donors testing to see if compatible and pays for the transplant itself. The only thing it does not pay for is your time off from work if employed. PS: UPDATE Just added this comment. I am getting disparate for a living donor. Dialysis has finally caught up to me and my emotional state is in a crisis. It is becoming very difficult to bear the side effects from it emotionally and physically. I wish there could be something that I could do for a donor but its all illegal.
