"At Ability360, we take a whole-person, holistic approach to home care," said Todd Fricke, Vice President of Home Care Services. "Being a caregiver is being someone else's angel," said Kimberly Beraud of Glendale, a former Ability360 caregiver now a full-time Ability360 team member. "I started as a caregiver for my mom. After she passed away, I knew that I really enjoyed what I had been doing for her and decided to focus on caregiving. It's incredibly rewarding helping others do things they're not able to do on their own, making them happy and showing them that their ability is way stronger than their disability. And, I love seeing their faces, meeting and becoming part of their family and helping them be happy." Home care services fall into several categories, the most common being: Respite Care, Attendant Care and Personal Care. Respite Care, which allows a family to leave their loved ones without worry, may include companionship and supervision, bathing and showering, toileting assistance, dressing transfers, meal preparation, bed positioning and light exercise.
