Facebook pages checked daily by people willing to help in the search: https://www.facebook.com/groups/LDOAZ/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/Straydar/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/146135998909119/ https://www.facebook.com/LostDogsArizona/?fref=ts https://www.facebook.com/groups/486508788170693/ https://www.facebook.com/groups/760674677363492/ Cats: https://www.facebook.com/lostcatsaz/?fref=ts Missing Cats: https://www.facebook.com/groups/760674677363492/ Found Cats: https://www.facebook.com/groups/486508788170693/ There are search bars in each of these groups on the top right of page usually. Search terms like dog, cat, breed but be aware of misspellings, I've seen Chihuahua (correct), Chiwawa, or Chi. You can search cities or areas (cross streets). When making your post, be descriptive as possible. Area lost or found, cross streets, neutered or spayed, collar or chip, breed and color. Really, you can't make the post too long! Photos, photos, photos! There are also pages dedicated to different cities; Chandler Lost and Found Pets, Lost and Found Dogs of Buckeye and so on. This is provided by County. http://gis.maricopa.gov/mapapp/animalcarecontrol/stray/index.html It is their map of animals that county trucks have picked up, but they only keep the posts up for 3 days as that is all strays get before they are evaluated for adoption/rescue or euthanized. It is urgent you check all facilities, not just the ones near you! http://www.helpinglostpets.com/ https://www.maricopa.gov/pets/adopt.aspx http://www.azhumane.org/ http://pinalcountyaz.gov/animalcontrol/pages/home.aspx http://www.ajcity.net/162/Paws-Claws-Care-Center 📌I cannot recommend just using Pawboost. Anytime I post tips to people on their listings, they are automatically marked flagged as SPAM which they are not.
