Description

Is music more than just a hobby for you? Have you put in the time and the energy and the thousands of hours of practice and playing and you want to keep going? Do you still want to chase the dream despite the real-world odds and obstacles? Does your love of music drive you? If so, please keep reading. We are CHAM℮L℮ON, a Denver-based original progressive (metal-influenced) heavy rock band with the focus, dedication and work ethic to build something unique, authentic and sophisticated and release it into the music world. We have been playing and writing together for nearly 3 years at our studio in RiNo. We are currently tracking vocals for our debut EP and LP, both of which will be released in 2021. Once the COVID situation subsides, we will be able to hit the ground running with two completed albums and begin building a Colorado fan base with a tight, polished, high-energy live performance. After that, we will expand beyond the borders of Colorado as we continue to write new music, release new albums and grow as a team. We understand this may take years and we are in this for the long haul (that said, we are very eager to get going!). So why do we need a new lead guitarist? After many failed attempts to find a vocalist who fits our project’s sound and shares our passion and vision, our current lead guitarist (the founding member and band leader) began taking voice lessons over a year ago and will assume the role of lead vocalist and front man for CHAM℮L℮ON. We’re now seeking a fourth member who can replace him on the guitar and who is able to learn and perform all of our tracks as they are played on the albums. Beyond that, this new member will become an equal member of the band and will therefore play an equal role in writing new songs for all future albums. WHAT WE ARE SEEKING (requirements)… · Dedicated and passionate guitarist seeking an original project with other dedicated and committed musicians · Advanced-level guitar player with at least basic knowledge of music theory · Experienced and comfortable playing in drop C · Willing to rehearse at least 2x per week and committed to practicing on your own on non-rehearsal days · Professional gear · Professional attitude: You show up to practice ready to work, grow, refine, develop and experiment · Age range: 25-40ish (current members are 34, 33 and 30 years old) · You are a responsible, self-sufficient and financially independent adult who is capable of managing your time and balancing your priorities in a healthy way IF YOU ARE STILL INTERESTED, you can listen to the preliminary instrumental versions of the EP tracks by clicking on this link (these were the first songs written and recorded): https://www.cham3l3on.com/ IF YOU HAVE LISTENED TO THE EP TRACKS AND YOU ARE *STILL* INTERESTED, please text Alex M at and I will set up a time for us to chat (if you try calling me I will assume you are a SpamBot). Rock on fellow human
