The consequences of lies and deceptions are the Insurrectionists who attacked the Capitol. They believed the lies and distortions and misinformation because it was echoed by too many others, other republicans who chose power and party over Truth & Justice. Accountability is not just a word, it is an ideal that is (or used to be) called Justice. The new Department of Justice will track down the actors and the organizers and the financiers. Seditionists are not patriots they are tools of manipulators! There are consequences for breaking the law.
