Description

“The only way out is through” Robert Frost Are your fears blocking your own success forward? Join Christine Langley-Obaugh, M.Ed., CVA and Nina Gately, Certified Aromatherapist for a discussion on life balance, coping mechanisms, and problem-solving skills. Learn effective self-discipline techniques and self-empowerment skills. We all have fears, but when we remain fearful about things that are not necessarily dangerous, those thought patterns could be blocking our own success forward. At times, our fears can even be about not wanting to feel painful emotions. Preventing ourselves from processing feelings, though, can keep us stuck in a state of lack, a place of not having, or a victim mentality. Don’t avoid, ignore or deny conflicts or issues. Unresolved problems magnify and intensify. Issues can remain in our bodies impacting us emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Confronting fears can reduce anxiety and empower us to live a balanced more fulfilled life. This is an in-person workshop. Due to current COVID restrictions space is limited so we can follow CDC guidelines. Masks are required. Christine Langley-Obaugh holds her Master’s in Education in Community Agency Counseling from George Mason University. In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Psychology from Radford University.
