A rehoming fee should be no more than $100.Do not put a deposit to hold a dog either, because some of these people are scam artists and they do not have any dogs. Their are many other options available when you are,looking for a pet. There are rescue shelters,the human society, and their are several groups on Facebook, with people looking to rehome their pet.
