POSITION SUMMARY: The Preschool & Family Services Director administers the policies and programs of the Association in the areas of child care and youth development for ages 3 months – 18 years. QUALIFICATIONS: 1.    Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or equivalent discipline. 2.    EEC Director 2 Certification mandatory. 3.    At least three years related experience preferred, specifically managing an EEC Licensed program.  Able to demonstrate growth of programs under your supervision. 4.    Minimum age requirements of 21. 5.    Typical requirements within 30 days of hire include completion of: CPR and First Aid (Pediatric and Adult). 6.    Must be able to work between the hours of 7:00AM – 6:00PM 7.    Strong written and verbal communication skills. 8.    Fulfillment of state-specific hiring standards and completion of YMCA program specific certifications. 9.    Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community. 10.    Holds a current 7D License or can earn one within 3 months of hire. 11.    Has demonstrated innovation into the curriculum of past experience for program involved in to be relevant and competitive to programs it the area. 12.    Currently holds or is working towards Y USA Team Leader Certification.
