A time to reflect on life and death; to remember those we've lost. Parinirvana is the annual observance of the death, or Final Nirvana, of the Buddha. It's an opportunity to reflect upon the final days of the Buddha, and the great mystery of Enlightenment and Death. It is also a time when we remember those we've lost. Parinirvana is one of the major days of reflection on the Buddhist calendar. The evening's events will consist of meditation, puja (devotional chanting) and readings from the life of the Buddha.
