Tree planting at Plum Point Park and cleaning up the managed meadow in Chelsea
The Elizabeth River Trail Foundation was awarded a Retain Your Rain Grant from the City of Norfolk's Office of Resilience for the new obstacle course site at Plum Point Park. We have already planted native grasses, some trees and shrubs. On January 30th, we will plant the remaining trees for the site, and clean up the managed meadow in preparation for seeding this Spring.
We will meet at the obstacle course site for check in and assignment to groups. Tools will be provided. Please bring your own mask, work gloves if you have some, and a water bottle (back ups will be available on site if needed).
Parking is available at 301 Riverview Drive, in the parking garage.
Slots are limited to 10 for social distancing and safety.
We look forward to seeing you and getting our hands dirty giving back!
