ABOUT THE CLUB: Founded in 1907, the Tokeneke Club is nestled in a private enclave on an idyllic cove in Darien, CT, and features a premier level racquets program, pool, a private beach and Club cabanas, as well as multiple dining outlets and private event venues. CURRENT OPENING: We are currently seeking qualified individuals for the position of Assistant Beach & Pool Director. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Assistant Beach & Pool Director is a full time, seasonal position (late May through early September), responsible for the management and supervision of all beach, pool, and waterfront operations and activities. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The primary responsibility of the Assistant Beach & Pool Director is to ensure the operational efficiency of the Beach & Pool department, through direct oversight of all Beach & Pool operations, programming, and activities, while ensuring a fun, safe, and enjoyable experience for all members and guests in accordance with Club standards. CERTIFICATIONS: The required certifications for this position include Lifeguard with waterfront skills, Professional Rescuer CPR, AED, and First Aid, as well as the successful completion of the Darien Health Department exam. Additionally, your employment will be subject to the satisfactory completion of a background check. COMPENSATION: Compensation is open and commensurate with candidate qualifications and experience.
