Free Bicycle Service @ Camacho Activity Center Camacho understands that bike maintenance is hard to come by and your local bike shop maybe backed up for weeks just to get a tune-up. Good thing Camacho has its own in-house bike mechanics to help you out. The Camacho Family Bike Shop offers FREE bicycle service to the community. All types of service are performed including safety check, bike build, or simple adjustments. Customers will register here, contact Theron Sweet at [email protected] or call 512-978-2420 (M-F 9am-5pm) to set up a date and time to bring your bike in. Our Activity Center is currently closed to the public and no one is allowed to enter the building, but a Camacho staff can meet you outside the front of our building, talk about the service you need, and bring your bike inside for repair. Customers are responsible for bringing their own parts if needed. We are offering flat-fee services to help you and your family get back on the saddle. We can fix most minor issues for mountain bikes, road bikes, and commuters. Please see the menu of services below. The fees represent service on 1 bicycle. We can accept up to 2 bikes per slot, so if you need 3 bikes worked on please sign up for 2 on one date and one more on another date. These are drop-off times and we will contact you for a scheduled pick-up time. Camacho Activity Center’s Bike Menu FREE!!! Bicycle Safety Check Get a basic safety check for a bike that has been in the garage for a while or to ensure your bike is the safest it can be. We will check basic operation to confirm that you are ready to hit the road or the trail. Basic Tune Up We will check all of your cables, brakes, and drive train, making adjustments wherever needed to get you back up and running. If we find that you need additional parts, we will provide detailed lists for you to take to your local bike shop. Out of the Box Build Just bought a bike and need it properly built and ready to go? We've got you covered. Camacho Bicycle Service Center cannot order parts. We can only provide tubes, some brake pad types, and gear cable and housing (MTB). If parts are needed for repair, we will ask you to provide parts.
