During the COVID-19 period, reopen Tai Chi dance class in the park.Background of the Instructor TAI CHI DANCE CLASS is taught by Jasmine Yiping Nee.Yiping Nee was born into a family of Chinese traditional medicine and was deeply influenced by her father's enlightenment. She started to learn Chinese medicine, Qi Gong, and martial arts, at the age of 5. Her passion for music and dance, lead her to study piano and dance at the age of 9.When she was 18 years old, Yiping was recruited as a professional actor by the Art Troupe in China. During her performance career, Yiping won many provincial and national awards in China.Yiping Nee later advanced from the Art Troupe to the Sichuan Provincial TV Station as a television host and director. The programs she created won first prize for China's long-form programs and first prize for the government news award.After working for 5 years at the Sichuan Provincial TV Station, she entered the Communication University of China to study variety show director. After graduation, she worked for China Central Television (CCTV) for 10 years and served as director, chief editor, and producer.In 2017, Yiping Nee immigrated to USA and established the Institute of Oriental Culture to offer courses in Oriental culture dance and to promote the aesthetics and philosophy of Oriental culture.Her Oriental culture dance courses have been offered at Cary Ballet Conservatory in Cary, NC for the past three years. She taught the dance classes more than 1000 hours, choreographed many dances with oriental cultural characteristics.Testimonies have been offered by many students of overcoming various health issues such as insomnia, shoulders pain, cervical spine pain and other problems.Yiping Nee’s students has been invited to participate in a variety of charity performances.
