Plane Off Runway At Manchester-Boston Regional Airport

LONDONDERRY, NH - Manchester-Boston Regional airport emergency crews are on the scene of a small plane off the side of one of the runways at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday. Emergency personnel from the airport and Londonderry Fire responded to the incident. According to the FAA registry based on the tail number, the plane is a Piper Malibu Meridian that landed at 4:16 p.m. The plane was coming to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport from Olathe Kansas, New Century AirCenter. Airport management reported that there were no injuries to anyone on the plane, and there was no impact to normal airport operations. Radio broadcasts indicated that emergency response crews were mitigating hazards from a fuel leak that was stopped. Federal authorities gave clearance for the plane to be removed from the runway.
