Join our Fleet Maintenance Team and become part of the #1 Bus Experience! Job Description: Jefferson Lines owns and operates a 70+ vehicle fleet of motor coaches. We have a need for qualified Mechanics to perform routine (PMI) and unscheduled maintenance on our buses. Areas of service include but not limited to: Diesel EnginesDrive TrainBrakesSuspension and SteeringElectrical/Electronic SystemsHeating, Ventilating and Air ConditioningPreventative Maintenance and Inspection Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and written work orders. Ability to add and subtract in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or verbal form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Physical Demands: Frequently required to stand long periods of time and use hands to finger, handle, or grasp objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.Frequently required to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl . Occasionally required to walk, climb or balance, talk or hear. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Work Environment: Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles (emissions).Subjected to dust, dirt and grease conditions. Works near moving mechanical parts.May occasionally work outdoors and be exposed to outdoor weather (heat and cold) conditions.The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. Qualifications Qualification Requirements: 1 years of experience in the diesel maintenance industry2 year degree in related field or qualified experienceValid driver's license required.
