Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Lake Conestee Nature Preserve with an enchanted stroll through the preserve on February 13, 2021. You and your Valentine will meander along candle lit trails and stop along the way to enjoy hors d'oeuvres and wine stations. The half mile candle lit walk will end at Lost Lake View overlooking Lake Conestee. There, you can grab some dessert and coffee or tea and snuggle up to your Valentine next to one of our campfires. All participants MUST be 21 years old an up. Driver's Licenses will be checked upon entry. What's Included For $55 per person you and your partner will enjoy food provided by Fork and Plough and 2 glasses of wine. Fork and Plough produces amazing meals sourced from locally grown meat and produce. There will be three food stations, two with heavy hors d'oeuvres and wine. You will be able to enjoy 1 glass of wine (white or red) at each hors d'oeuvres station. The final station will have dessert and coffee/tea/hot chocolate. What to Expect You will purchase a ticket with a specific entry time. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your ticket time so that we can check you in and orient you with your surroundings. This is a self paced experience! We encourage you to not all start at the same moment, but stagger your entry and allow distance between each group. We hope this will add to the intimacy of the night. The terrain is mostly flat. You will descend one small hill at the beginning. The candlelight is for ambience and will help see the direction the trail goes. It will still be dark so please walk slowly and keep an eye out for roots. You are welcome to bring a blanket to keep you and your partner warm while enjoying the different stops or while sitting around the fire at the end. COVID-19 Precautions We will have regulations in place to help mitigate the risk of the Coronavirus. You will purchase a ticket for a specific entry time. We are limiting each entry time to 10 people total. This will help make for a more intimate experience and reduce crowding at the food stations. We ask that you wear masks when approaching the tables to get your food and then spread out while you eat. We will have plenty of seating options to help disperse the crowd. A majority of your time will be spent at the last station, enjoying the fires and the view. We ask that you monitor your time to spend a total of 2 hour at the event. So if your entry time is 7:00pm we ask that you head back to your vehicle at 9:00pm. This will help limit the number of people gathered around the fires. Please wear masks when you are not able to maintain 6ft distance from people not in your group.
