PIT/VIP Training (2018-2020 Driver's Training Cycle)
Training Class Summary:
YOU MUST COMPLETE THE CANVAS COURSE PRIOR TO ATTENDING THIS EVENT!!!
Class starts promptly at 0800 hours. Students must complete the PIT/VIP Canvas course prior to attending this training. There are two training sessions per day, so make sure you attend the class you sign up for.

Phoenix Fire Department Training Academy
2425 W. Lower Buckeye Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85009
Special Instructions:
Park in the first parking lot on the left after entering, DO NOT park on the driving track. Training will start in the classroom in the building adjacent to the parking area. Enter on east side of building. Secure all weapons (guns, ammo, knives, batons, OC spray, tasers, etc) in your vehicle prior to entering the classroom.
Equipment:
Duty belt - Please bring a duty belt with you to training and secure all firearms and ammunition in your vehicle when you arrive to the class. You will be checked for weapons prior to the start of class.
Reflective Vest - For the evening classes ensure you bring a reflective vest with you. Students may be required to assist with picking up cones, a reflective vest will be required for safety.
Gloves – Optional, maybe helpful when assisting with cones or a tire change.
