I am so happy to meet you and your family! I think you are pawsome!  I am the new "Certified Grief Therapy Dog" at Vandenberg Funeral Home in Tinley Park and Mokena. I am also a published pawthor and I write my own Blog, Facebook page and website! I wrote this pawsome article all by myself too! Not bad for a pup...huh?  I am a Goldendoodle, so I am allergy-friendly, and I am not a big shedder, so I won't shed all over you, and leave you looking like a cat walked all over you! (Don't tell any cats I said that! Thanks!)  Want to know a secret? I LOVE HUGS!!!!! I am available upon request for hugs and snuggles to provide emotional support to you and your loved ones during wakes and funerals at Vandenberg Funeral Home. And I am not just a lovable, huggable, pretty face either! I am a professional working grief therapy dog, humanely trained to help families during their time of need. I was born in August 2020 at Pride and Prejudoodle. I was trained in a healthy, family-friendly environment by a certified AKC trainer. And guess what else?  I was lucky enough to be adopted by Jacob, Carrie, Oliver, Logan and Reese Vandenberg! I love my new family and they love me too! I wish every dog in the whole world had a furever family as Pawsome as the Vandenberg Family! Study after study has shown that animals – especially dogs – have a positive impact on not only your mind and emotions, but also your physical health. Dogs are beneficial for guests of all ages and especially children and teens...who are often attending their "First" wake or funeral. Dogs make funerals so much easier for our youngest guests. Everyone says I am cute as a button and I must admit I am quite handsome! People love me! I am the talk of the town! But...this isn't about me...this is about YOU!
