EVANSTON, IL — Curbside meal pickup in Evanston's District 65 resumed this week with pre-order breakfasts and lunches available at seven locations. The district's Nutrition Services Departments said all meals distributed through the curbside program are offered free of charge thanks to a waiver from the USDA. Families must complete this form, available in English and Spanish, by Friday at 9 a.m. to receive meals for the following week. The form should only be completed once, the district said. Families are also encouraged to complete the Free and Reduced Meal Application, even if they think they do not qualify, as its benefits extend beyond curbside meal pick-up and could help students get free or reduced-cost lunches while in school. Families can sign up to receive a seven-day supply of breakfasts, lunches or both. Meals will be distributed every Monday — or Tuesday on weeks with a Monday holiday — from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at seven schools across the district.
