Should there be a Summer Reading Challenge badge for cooking, sports, attending a Library program or being an awesome friend? What about other activities? Get out your crayons, pens & pencils and start designing. Be creative.

The contest begins January 19, 2021 and is open to students in grades TK through 12. Deadline for entry is Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.
Create an original badge using the form (available for download here starting January 19.) Please print the form. Forms are also available for pickup starting January 19 at the Library by calling (626) 852-4891. Draw your badge design, list the requirements to earn the badge, and give the badge a name. Only artwork inside the inner circle will be judged. Badges must be family-friendly. All entries must be the original artwork of the participant. Limit one entry per person. All entries will be judged on creativity and originality. Winners will be announced by April 1, 2021.

Dropped off at the Library Friends Room near Glendora Ave.
Winners:
There will be two (2) winners chosen from grades TK-2.
There will be two (2) winners chosen from grades 3-5.
There will be two (2) winners chosen from grades 6-8.
There will be two (2) winners chosen from grades 9-12.
Winning badges will be included in the 2021 Summer Reading Challenge.
