Illegal Dumpsite Cleanup | East Mesa The Cleanup:WELCOME TO 2021!! We will be hosting monthly cleanup events in 2021 and are so excited to be back in action with you! We have a very limited number of spots (25 total) for each event and we ask that you only sign up if you know for a fact you can attend :) This will be our 3rd time at this particular location. It is a frequent illegal dumpsite and we will be attacking an area with a lot of household waste. IMPORTANT: Due to COVID-19, we will be requiring masks and gloves to be worn during the entirety of the event. If you cannot or will not adhere to this measure, please reconsider signing up. We will be providing gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer at the event as well as practicing social distancing. Thanks for understanding. The Details:Who: Everyone! We will cap the event at 25-30 volunteers due to COVID What: Trash cleanup in a frequented illegal dumpsite in Mesa, AZ When: 2/10/2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Stuff to Know1. Wear outdoor appropriate attire and your Keep Nature Wild gear is always a plus :). Shoes/boots and long pants are always recommended as well as a hat or some form of shade. 2. Parking: Look for the entrance, and KNW signs, near the intersection of Baseline and Meridian road. 3. We will provide bags, gloves, and MASKS. Feel free to bring trash grabbers and buckets in lieu of bags 4. You don't need any sort of pass or permit for this event 5. Cleanup events are inherently dangerous and can be strenuous. Please read and sign our liability form before participating 6. BRING YOUR OWN WATER!! Due to COVID-19, we will not be providing water or snacks at this event.
