Drummer Available for working Cover Band

Description

Hi, I'm a 32 year old drummer looking for a solid, gigging cover band! I'm a classically trained percussionist, played in the school band 3rd grade through senior year of high school. Since then, I've played with a bunch of bands, recorded at several different studios, written full band arrangements, and have stage experience with multiple different groups. I play with two original bands already, so I'm not interested in joining another. What I'm looking for, obviously, are paid gigs! So if you are a legit cover band with stage experience and drive to book paying gigs, then I'm in. I'm cool with playing most genres. I'm your guy for classic rock, metal, dance/pop, funk, jams, country, whatever. Maybe I'm not your guy for super demanding jazz (don't know many standards) or Latin American music, just being honest. I have transportation, a practice space, and two drum sets that can be customized for what sound you need. I can show up and fill in for you temporarily if you'd like, but I'd prefer to be a part of a continuous cover band endeavor that shares equally in the gig money. If you need a last minute drummer, I can help! I recently learned about 30 cover songs in a few hours and filled in for a 3 night run of 4 hour sets no problem, taking drum solos and the whole shebang (obviously not in Denver, but somewhere smaller where bars were open, though don't take me as an anti-masker, I prefer to be safe and let everyone around me make their own choices). I have professional gear and I know how to support you and make your band sound great as well as take the lead when needed. So if any of this sounds good to you, then let's make some music! Here's a video of me playing a cover medley I put together recently: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_806cmgllxk&list=PLZoS4sPNzkuit2yEwMByBJRiLh7uW3imm&index=3 You can also watch my other cover videos on my YouTube channel: Rhythm_AndBooze: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsSzpf6Dt4c28C1C-sHxLyA It's all metal stuff on there right now, but please don't think I don't know how to play softly too! I actually really love using dynamics and hate that it is not more prevalent in metal. Did I mention I can sing too? Yes even while drumming, I think everyone in the band should contribute as much as possible. So let's rock out, have fun, and make some money! The less people in your band the better, I won't consider joining a cover band with more than 5 members unless you're getting paid more than $500/show.
