Need help training aggressive dog

My dog is four years old and is just getting more aggressive by the day. He’s so sweet, he’s my best friend, but I can’t take him outside because he’s always growling and lunging at people, dogs and any other animal around, even if it’s far away. I live in an apartment and I’ve gotten a couple letters that my dog howls while I’m away. I need affordable training ASAP
