Seeking musicians in the Phoenix area interested in free jazz, avant-garde jazz, art jazz and other forms of abstract musical expression in the vein of John Coltrane, Ornette Coleman, Albert Ayler, Archie Shepp, Don Cherry, Cecil Taylor, Andrew Hill, Steve Lacy, Peter Brötzmann, Sam Rivers, Sonny Sharrock, etc. Noisy, experimental, unconventional, impressionistic, dark, intense, unnerving. Eventual goal would be to put together a performing/recording collective. Solely original music. All instruments welcome.
