Description
We are rehoming a blue heeler, she is about a year old. She is very protective, but warms up to people after 15-20 minutes, we cannot figure out why she is afraid of people. We found her and took her in, but because she is protective she need to go to a home with someone willing to work with her. She is very responsive to training and very smart. We taught her commands, sit, spin, lay down, wait and jump. She is a fast learner but are rehoming because we are afraid that she might bite our daughter out of fear.
She does like children but I would recommend a home with older children because she can be fearful.
She gets along with our cat but if you have one she might chase it at first. She does like other dogs!
