Be aware- the scammers are everywhere

I'm seeing a lot of posts about birds, puppies and other animals for sale on here. They start off with a title like "french bulldog puppy 12 weeks" or "hyacinth macaws" and the ad veers wildly off course and starts talking about a completely different species of animal towards the end. Be wary. Don't send anyone money through cash app or zelle, as you don't get a refund if you're scammed. The moment they mention shipping, walk away, it's a scam. If something is too good to be true, it probably isn't. These are ads involving expensive dog breed puppies that are somehow completely crate and potty trained and 8-12 weeks, and also things like a $10,000 bird species that they're asking $2,000 for two of them. Don't be stupid, listen to your gut. These scams continue to be posted, because people keep falling for them. Learn to recognize scams, before becoming a victim.
