Why deal with the swiping and ghosting when you can meet 10-15 singles and chat with them right away? As we wait to resume our in person Singles events, we're providing you with the fun and efficiency of our singles events; this time in your living room. Let's stay connected: Take off your face covering and meet other singles at our Virtual Speed Dating! Here's how it works: •Register in advance, by 5pm (capacity is limited to 20 guys and 20 gals) •Join us in our Zoom meeting room - you'll be emailed instructions in advance. •Your host will be logged in early to help you with any technical issues and so you can test your microphone and lighting. During your dates, your host will be available to help as well via chat or by popping into the main chat room. •Once everyone has logged in, our host will move daters to Zoom breakout rooms . Every five minutes we'll shift the attendees so that you are meeting someone new! •Keep a list of who you had a great conversation with, and submit those matches to your host at the end of the evening. If your match felt the same, you'll be connected via email the next day. Then, set up a follow up chat, take a walk while 6+ feet apart, or give them a ring. You'll be able to really get to know someone before your first official date night! FAQ: •What if I'm late? If you log in after the dates have kicked off, we'll work you into the shuffle, however please understand you'll likely miss meeting a few attendees. •What if someone attends without the best intentions? While someone bringing their best may not spark your interest, anyone who doesn't know how to behave appropriately will be permanently banned, just like our IRL events. For our virtual events, you also need to live in or near Boston, use your actual face (and not a filter), and keep the conversation clean. Daters can contact the host at any time to let us know someone needs to be removed. •When will your Single Mingles and Speed Dating events resume? As soon as it's safe to do so.
