The objective of this seminar is to provide each participant with a comprehensive review of understanding and treating pediatric obesity. As the largest pediatric healthcare network in Louisiana, we want to believe in children, care for them, and create a healthier tomorrow. Join us for our fifth annual education symposium at the Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital, led by keynote speakers, Dr. Phillip Schauer, Professor of Metabolic Surgery and Director of the Bariatric and Metabolic Initiative at Pennington Biomedical Research Institute and Dr. Leanne Redman, Associate Professor and Director of the Reproductive Endocrinology Lab at Pennington. Dr. Schauer is a national expert in Obesity and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Redman is involved in key research about healthy pregnancy benefits. Dr. Shauer and Dr. Redman will discuss how to Develop a System for Addressing Childhood Obesity. This event will apply for one 6 hour CME credit.
