Anyone Out There Play the Keys?

We are looking to add to our band family with the versatility that a keyboard player would bring to the mix. That said, we get that those are kind of a rare breed. So, we could be open to a second guitarist if we found the right fit - especially if that guitarist has even mild aptitude or willingness to learn little synthesizer parts here and there. Comfort with background vocals is also a plus. Our group was founded just about two months ago, but we’ve been hard at work getting more and more songs under our belts and perfecting them so that when Covid restrictions loosen up, we will soon be ready to go. We have two female singers - one specializing in droppin’ a verse here and there with songs like “Shoop” while the other has been called a ‘powerhouse’ when she belts out songs like “Chain of Fools”. We have a strong rhythm section and a passionate guitarist - and everyone just keeps working harder and getting better every practice. We feel strongly about keeping it fun and fresh by focusing on a lot of pop tunes with a sprinkling of the more tried and true songs. While we’re a cover band, we are really enthusiastic about making things our own by playing around with arrangements and, maybe, even a mash-up here and there. We meet weekly on Sunday afternoons on the southside of Indy. We have resolved that we are all grown-ups, and expect current members and prospective members to act as such by keeping drama to a minimum. Really, at the end of the day, we are looking for another musician who can collaborate and grow with us as we do our best to create music that will appeal to a broad audience.
