You're invited to join us for worship and the Word. Today’s culture (post-modernism) is removing sovereignty from individuals and making them members of a group. By putting people into categories it labels people and contains them in the confines of a certain idea and behavior. Group identity is “god.” This removes creativity and potential of what the individual can truly discover about themselves. This is a type of branding. Many are enduring negative labels but the most damaging labels are the ones we use on ourselves. Words are powerful, even when they aren't true. Words create realms and begin to shape our perceptions of ourselves and the decisions we make. But the only labels that really matter are the ones God originally designated us with. What does God call us? Sons and daughters. We are called to transform the world where we work, learn, live, and play. Join us every Sunday at 10:30am for this amazing new series in 2021.
