Chef Nick grew up eating a delish smorgasbord of Eastern European food! In this class, he's teaching you three of his favorites! You will learn how to make Christmas Soup, Pierogies, and Halupki! Christmas Soup is a caraway seed broth with homemade dumplings, and something we look forward to having every Christmas. We received such great feedback during our Christmas takeout, we thought you would enjoy learning how to make this favorite tradition. Pierogies... need I say more? Pierogi dough, pierogi fillings, buttered onions, homemade sauerkraut & creme fraiche. When Chef says he's making Halupki for dinner, I'm the happiest woman in town! This tradition happens about twice a year, so come learn everything you need to know for these stuffed cabbage rolls. Nick's are made with KC Cattle Co Wagyu ground beef, jasmine rice, tomato, beef stock, and cabbage. We will finish out evening with Slovak cookies and Kolachi. Your evening includes dinner, instruction, recipes, and a glass of wine.
