LEMONT, IL — No injuries were reported after an attic fire on Short Street in Lemont early Monday, according to the Lemont Fire Protection District Facebook page. The ABC7 news chopper flew to the scene around 6 a.m. Monday, causing several residents to post on social media community groups. According to the fire district, a fire investigation is underway. Northwest Homer Fire District also assisted at the scene. Patch has reached out to the fire district for more information.
