Press release from PennDOT: Jan. 17, 2021 Motorists will encounter lane closures on U.S. 30 and Route 263 (York Road) next week in Chester and Bucks County for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. The work schedule is: Tuesday, January 19, through Thursday, January 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, right lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 30 between the U.S. 202 and Reeceville Road interchanges in West Whiteland, East Caln and Caln townships and Downingtown Borough, Chester County; and Wednesday, January 20, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, right lane closures are scheduled on southbound Route 263 (York Road) between West Bristol Road and Old York Road in Warminster Township, Bucks County. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent and subject to change. Work on these operations will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, special signage and relevant training.
