Wonder Girls Volunteer Day at People to People in Rockland County! SPACE IS LIMITED: SIGN UP TODAY! Each month Wonder Girls hosts a "Volunteer Day" at a different non-profit located in either Rockland, NY or Bergen, NJ counties. These events are open to high school-aged girls and women ONLY. **YOU MUST WEAR A MASK, GLOVES AND SOCIAL DISTANCE. On February 18th at 3pm, WG volunteers will pack and distribute food to families in need in Rockland County. Space is limited. A key component of Wonder Girls is to instill a sense of social responsibility and the meaning behind giving back to those in need. In addition to in-school workshops, Wonder Girls also hosts monthly events outside the school including community service experiences with charitable partners and local organizations. Founded in 2020, Wonder Girls is an after-school program for female high school students with a mission to build confidence, leadership, and the necessary business skills to succeed. We believe that every Wonder Girl deserves the opportunity to thrive as leaders of their own lives despite economic, social, or educational challenges. As successful female professionals, we want to make a positive impact on the lives of our Wonder Girls and foster our future female leaders who are ready to make a difference!
