These crazies in here only have the disproportionally loud voice that they do because reasonable folks look at the shitshow and say "I want no part in that". But that's exactly what's wrong with American politics. That's why we have a bunch of idiot white nationalists storming the capitol. Because we don't have normal folks in these conversation spaces outnumbering and marginalizing the extremists. And they want it that way (quite literally, I have a guy who responds to every single one of my posts telling me to kill myself - it's obvious that they want their voice to be heard, and nobody else's). Don't give up. Don't disappear from politics and discourse because these people want you to. Most Americans are reasonable people and we need strong representation from and for reasonable people. These nutjobs want to normalize extremism. DON'T LET THEM. And for the love of God, vote. Vote early, vote often. Every election as soon as polls open. It's too important not to.
